These are my famous cookies. Any time I bring them to a function, someone always asks for the recipe. These are sooooo good. You must try these cookies. Now these cookies are nowhere near low fat, so if you do make them you'll want to be sure to share them! Here's the recipe:

Ingredients:

3/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 large egg
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla extract
10 graham cracker squares, crushed into crumbs leaving some small pieces
1 cup milk chocolate chips
1 cup mini marshmallows
2 milk chocolate bars, broken up

Directions:

1. preheat oven to 375 F
2. cream together butter, white sugar and brown sugar. Beat until fluffy.
3. add egg and vanilla and beat together.
4. in a medium bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda, and graham cracker crumbs.
5. gradually add dry mixture to butter mixture, beating until combined.
6. stir in chocolate chips.
7. drop dough by tablespoons onto greased cookie sheet.
8. bake for 7 minutes and quickly remove from oven.
9. quickly press 3 marshmallows and 1 chocolate bar piece into each cookie.
10. return cookies to oven and bake for 4 additional minutes, or until done.
11. remove from oven and cool completely before removing from pan.

  1. i just made these for a church function today and they turned out amazing! i had the best results by cooking them for 8 minutes before putting the chocolate and marshmallows on them and then baking them for 2 more minutes. it all depends on your oven, altitude, baking sheet, etc but that's what worked best for me here in florida! :) thanks for the great recipe!!

  3. They're definitely one of my favorites now as well! Everyone at church loved them!!! I love all of your pictures on your blog. If you don't mind my asking, what type of camera/lens do you use?

  4. Hi Keri! I'm so glad you loved them. I shoot with a Nikon D90 and use a variety of lenses. There's a link in my sidebar about what camera and lenses I have. I hope that helps!

  5. When you say "squares", do you mean full Graham cracker sheets? Great cookies, by the way. I used 5 full sheets, or what I thought were 10 squares, and they ended up super delicious, just a little gooey.

  6. Hi Wendy! I buy the graham crackers in squares. They're maybe 3" by 3". Maybe they sell them differently here in Canada. I'm not quite sure how big a sheet is?
