finding beauty in the world

It's amazing to me that just taking a few steps out my patio doors finds me some of the most beautiful creations in the world. Flowers are just amazing to me. The dramatic colours, the intricate details, the uniqueness, and the amazing variety. They truly are an exceptional creation. Here's just a few I took this week from my backyard. I really need to take a trip to my sisters's backyard (Jen, are you listening?) because she has the most amazing garden around. I could take pictures for hours back there.

I bought some cone flowers and black-eyed susans to plant at the cottage.

ReplyDeletemy eyeliner lilies are out now, and they are GORGEOUS!
I really do want you to take some pics of the flowers - and thank-you for the compliment ... although I haven't been able to do much this year out there ... gardening is off-limits for my back this summer. Watch out, though - I'm just collecting more ideas for next year!
