lovely lilies

Pin It So my sister's kids and my kids had a playdate today. Camden didn't want to play with the girls at all and was really fussy so it wasn't a total success, but I did get some pictures of some of my sister's lovely lilies. You see she has an amazing variety (like over 100 lily species, or something crazy like that) and she can name them all if you ask her. I wish I was that interested in gardening, but unfortunately I hate it. I love flowers, but hate the work that goes into taking care of them (except my orchids of course!). Does that make sense? Anyway, who needs a lovely garden when I can just go to her house and snap pics. Easy peasy. Here's just a few from today:

  1. They ARE lovely lilies - my favourite pics are #4 GORGEOUS (I actually don't know the name of that lily - realized that last year when they they popped up), and #8 (my Allyson Jane lilies) (and no, I didn't name my daughter after a lily, but I was pretty excited to find them)!

    And Jill - I'll send you the cookie recipe later - it's in a book somewhere in my cookbook cupboard - I actally know exactly where (despite my stellar housekeeping habits), but don't have the energy to go and get it right now. Sad.
