sweet and salty wrapper

As soon as I saw this recipe, I knew I had to have it immediately. I think I went out and bought the ingredients the next day, which isn't something I normally do. I have hundreds of recipes saved and I rarely feel the need to make something right away. There's just something about combining sweet and salty flavours that I love. This wrap is excellent. The combination of the sweet craisins and the salty bacon and feta cheese is delicious. It's so quick and easy to put together and makes for a great lunch or supper. I always buy an already cooked rotisserie chicken from the grocery store every week. When I get it home, I de-bone it and put it in a container in the fridge. This way I have cooked chicken ready to go all week for any recipes. It's also great just to make the kids a few sandwiches instead of high salt and high fat lunch meat. I also used the pre-cooked, microwaveable bacon for this wrap. It's not something that I would want to eat if I were having bacon and eggs, but it's definitely good enough as a topping on a sandwich. By using pre-cooked chicken and bacon, I was able to throw these wraps together in just minutes. Definitely a keeper and one that I will be making over and over. Here's the recipe, although it's not much of one:

Ingredients:

1 flour tortilla
mixed greens
shredded, cooked chicken - I use rotisserie chicken
2 strips bacon - cut time by using by using pre-cooked, microwaveable bacon
handful of craisins
crumbled feta cheese
poppyseed dressing

Assemble the above ingredients in your tortilla and roll it up. Enjoy!
