This week's fun food friday is a piggy. This was really easy to make and the kids just loved it. I don't usually buy pre-packaged lunchmeat, but I did for this because it was so easy. Kirsten even ate all the celery, which impressed me a lot. Here's how I made this little piggy:
Cut a circle out of a piece of bread, layer on a piece of cheese, and a piece of ham lunch meat. Using another piece of ham, cut out a nose and ears. I used cucumbers and blueberries for the eyes, and 2 chocolate sprinkles for the nose. The 'grass' is celery sticks, and I put peaches around the outside of the plate.

Love it!
ReplyDeleteI like how the little hole in the lunch meat looks like a mouth - a surprised mouth - like he's surprised he's going to be EATEN!
