footprint penguins

Pin It Kirsten's penguin:

Cam's penguin:

These little footprint penguins are so cute and they were so easy to make. I have a slight obsession with handprint/footprint/thumbprint crafts (as you probably already know). This is a great winter craft for little ones. Here's how we made them:

What you'll need:

paper
black, white, and orange paint
paint brush
glue
googly eyes

Directions:

1. paint your child's foot black and stamp on the paper. Allow to dry.
2. using your black paint, paint some wings on your penguin
3. using your white paint, paint a body on your penguin
4. paint on an orange beak
5. glue on 2 googly eyes

  3. Super cute idea. My girls would love this craft...anything that involves them painting themselves (i.e. their feet) is a HUGE hit.

  4. Thanks ladies!

Tara - I've done these crafts with my kids since they were babies so I think a 1-year old would do great!
