fun food friday: Oh Christmas tree

I love this week’s fun food friday. Since I’ve discovered that my kids actually liking eating wraps, I’ve been incorporating them into a lot of their lunches. I used a spinach tortilla to make the Christmas tree and it looked great. The kids loved this lunch and it was really easy to make. Here’s how I made it:

Cut a spinach tortilla into a Christmas tree shape. I put some rotisserie chicken underneath the tree. Decorate the tree with blueberries, pomegranate seeds and sliced carrots. I used a star cookie cutter to make the stars out of cheese. Graham cracker tree trunk and presents. Cheesestring was used for the bows on the presents.

I love all your fun food Fridays – good job, Jill. My play food came today – must make a trip to the dollar store for the plates – did you use small and medium size ones? The food looks pretty small.

Thanks Jen! I got the plates when they still hard their summer stuff out. I don’t know how hard it will be to find them now. I think I used a regular dinner plate and a dessert plate and children’s drinking cups.

I love all of your fun food Fridays. It is amazing to me what you can do with everyday food. I can not wait until my daugther is old enough that I can make some of these for her. I am going to follow your blog. Thanks!
