fun food friday: a lucky lunch

funfood34
Here’s a really fun lunch for St. Patrick’s day. This was really easy to put together and the kids really enjoyed it. I put a few treats in this lunch, and was surprised when the kids ate the healthy stuff first and didn’t even touch the rainbow belt candy. That doesn’t usually happen! Here’s how to make this lunch:

Lephrechaun sandwich – chicken sandwich cut into circle – green apple cut into hat shape with a yellow sprinkle – icing eyes and food marker smile – matchstick carrot beard and hair

Vanilla yogurt with a rainbow belt, rainbow covered sunflower seeds and a pot o’ gold (banana coins).

    Thank-you, thank-you ladies.

Becky – I got the food safe markers at Walmart in the cake decorating section. I got the icing eyes at my dollar store in Canada. You can probably find them on Amazon.

    Monica – I shoot with a Nikon D90 and I love it.

Jill, I found your blog on Pinterest from a link to your shaving cream paints and I just have to tell you I have already found my favorite blog of the week! You remind me so much of Katherine Marie, have you ever visited her blog? You should, you guys have a lot in common. I listed you in a Spring Break Treasure Trove on my site this morning – I can send you a featured on button if you like

Gina – I actually bought it at the dollar store last year. I love their candy selection. I have also seen them at bulk food stores too. I hope that helps!
