
To go along with the seashell snails we made (see below), I also made the kids a snail lunch. I figured little pinwheels sandwiches would make the perfect snail shells. Too bad my kids weren't really a fan of them. Camden wouldn't even try them and Kirsten only had a couple bites. Oh well, they can't all be winners. I filled them with salsa and cream cheese, and next time I try them I'll just use meat and cheese. I still think it was super cute. Here's how I made this lunch:
snails - pinwheel sandwiches on tortillas with grape heads, almonds and icing eyes, moving along a stalk of celery. Chopped celery on the "ground."
flower silicone cups filled with yogurt and sprinkles and red grapes.

Katie and I made a big trip to the Dollar Store to fill our craft bucket for the summer - spent WAY TOO much considering I was at the Dollar Store. Seashell snails are first on the list for tomorrow!
