We've made button Christmas trees in the past - you can check out the one we made last year here. There's just something about buttons that I just love. They are so fun to craft with and create the brightest and cutest things. Thankfully my daughter feels the same way. We had a lot of fun sorting through our favourite buttons and then stacking them from largest to smallest. We have them probably on display with some of our other awesome homemade Christmas decorations and they look pretty darn awesome if I do say so myself! There are so simple to make, here's what you'll need:
What you'll need:
buttons - lots in sizes from large to small
wooden thread spools
glue
Directions:
1. Sort through your buttons and find your brightest and most colourful buttons. Then arrange them from largest to smallest.
2. Grab your wooden spool thread to use as a tree trunk and glue the buttons from largest to smallest on the "trunk".
3. We picked some pretty buttons and placed them on the top for the tree toppers!
I just love these!

And here are some my sweet little Kirsten made all by herself with zero help from mama! I think she did pretty awesome and she's pretty proud of them!
