This week in bento boxes is all about my superhero-loving son. He absolutely adores when I make him a superhero lunch, and they are actually incredibly easy (with the right materials!). Here are some of the recent bento boxes I’ve made him..
This fun lunch was for for my spiderman-loving boy’s afternoon nutrition break. The top tier held sliced cucumbers and a silicone muffin cup with sliced baby carrots and a spiderman ring pick. The bottom tier held a circle-cut sandwich with a spiderman ring pick, and some mini pretzel twists.
Here’s a batman lunch for Cam’s afternoon nutrition break packed in his goodbyn bynto. The top section held a bat-cut ham sandwich. The middle section held 2 silicone muffin cups with sliced baby carrots and sliced cucumbers and a batman pick. The bottom section held a peeled and halved clementine orange with a batman ring pick.
This superman lunch was a hit with Cam. It was packed in his Trudeau Fuel Everest sandwich box. He had a circle cut chicken sandwich with a superman ring pick. There was also 2 rectangle silicone muffin cups with carrots and cucumbers. I put a mini babybel cheese in there with an ‘s’ cut out for superman and finished the box with some mini pretzel twists.
This green lantern lunch was for Cam’s afternoon nutrition break and packed in a small green bento box. One section held a circle cut chicken sandwich with the green lantern ring pick stuck in it. The other section held a rectangle silicone muffin cup with alternating sliced cucumbers and some green goldfish crackers (from the colourful pack).
And lastly, a Captain America lunch packed in our blue two-tier bento. The top tier held a star silicone muffin cup with sliced baby carrots surrounded by alphabet pretzels. The bottom tier held a circle-cut turkey sandwich with a captain america sheild (from Cam’s toys). The bottom tier also had sliced cucumbers with a letter ‘A’ pick.
Here are the supplies I used to make these lunches:
