It’s my 3-year blogiversary!!

I really can’t believe I’ve been doing this blog for 3 years now! It’s just incredible to me. 3 years ago today, I sat down on the computer and decided I wanted to start a blog so that I could share photos of my kids and our everyday life with friends and family both out of town and close by. I thought it would be a great way for everyone to stay in touch. Little did I know, it would evolve from there. It has become my creative outlet and the place I come to share fun foods, crafts and photos. I have met so many fabulous women out there and I feel so blessed to call some of you my friends now.

And now for the mushy stuff…

I want to thank each and every one of you who visit my blog and encourage me to continue on this journey each and every day. I won’t lie to you, sometimes it’s really hard and sometimes I want to quit. My life is so incredibly busy and it’s difficult to find the time to fit everything in. I keep doing it though because it helps motivate me to keep doing fun things with my kids – and isn’t that what it’s all about?! I love when people tell me that my site has inspired them to be more creative with their kids, but in actuality, you guys are encouraging me to keep creative. I guess it’s a win-win. For that, I thank you guys from the bottom of my heart.

Anywho, I had planned a giveaway for today to celebrate my 3-year anniversary, but unfortunately I haven’t gotten everything together yet. So… stay tuned for an awesome bento giveaway hopefully within the next week. For now, I’ll leave you with this awesome celebratory sandwich – I thought the 3-candle design was just perfect. I made this sandwich using my birthday cake lunch punch sandwich press. I added a piece of mozza cheese to the top and put on some birthday sprinkles!

I LOVE your site – you inspire my daughter’s lunchboxes every day (I even take pictures of them now – though they’re certainly not worth sharing!). I can’t easily get a hold of any of the gear that you use to make such pretty bento, but using your site for ideas I find I can make pretty fun stuff with what I do have, and for that I am very grateful (and so is my girl!). Happy Bloggy Birthday Jill!

Hello! I found your blog about a month ago and spent about two weeks going through every single entry and writing down ideas and materials that I would need to complete fun crafts and yummy food snacks and treats. I LOVE YOUR BLOG! I have told all three of my sisters about it and my girls and I are enjoying all your amazing, fun and creative ideas. We’ve made the penguins out of their footprints, the thumbprint heart rings, chocolate covered strawberries and more. Thank you so much for all your time and effort. We went from doing zero fun & crafty/foody things to fun, fun, fun! I also loved your Christmas Gift Guide and am already busy making gifts for this coming Christmas. Happy Blogiversary, you are amazing.
