valentine, i CHEWS you

I’ve had this idea floating around in my head ever since I purchased these adorable little Christmas ball Coca-Cola bottles at Christmas. I don’t know why, but as soon as I saw these bottles I thought they would make an awesome gumball machine craft. The kids and I made these last weekend, and they were so easy to make. You can whip up these cute little babies in about a minute. These would make an awesome Valentine’s gift for all the special littles in your life – I know my kids loved them!

Some stores sell kids drinks in round bottles like this year round too. Sorry I can’t remember right now which stores or what the drinks were called :(

You can get the little round coke bottles at Walmart. At least our indiana Walmart has them. Hope you can find them at yours !

About how many “machines” were you able to fill with one package of gumballs? Trying to figure out how much I need to order to do this for my daughters’ classes this Valentine’s Day.

Hi Katie! It depends on what size bag of gumballs you get. I just bought cheap, small bags at the dollar store. If I remember correctly it took nearly 1 whole bag, if not slightly more, to fill each ball. You might want to look at getting bigger bags to save some $$. I hope that helps!

Sam’s club sells them year around, I bought some with Disney characters on them this summer!
Thanks for sharing this craft! I can’t wait to make it for my daycare kids!

Our local Sam’s Club sells Disney themed flavored water in these great round bottles. We will definitely give this a try. It’s adorable!
